What we collect
When you submit an entry we store only what the form asks for:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your country and phone number
- Your delivery address — only if you entered a pool that ships a physical prize
- Which prize pool you chose, and the time you entered
We also store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string. The hash lets us stop duplicate and automated entries without keeping the IP address itself.
Why we collect it
To run the draw, to tell you what happened to your entry, and to deliver your prize if you win. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles from it.
Who can see it
Only the site administrator. Your details are not sold, rented or shared with other companies. Two things necessarily touch your data to make the site work:
- Our database host, which stores the entries.
- Our email provider, which delivers your confirmation and status emails.
On the public tracking page your name is shortened and your email is partly masked, so someone who has your code cannot read your full details.
Advertising
The public pages of this site carry third-party advertising. This includes a banner at the foot of the page, and formats that can open an additional browser tab or show a floating advert over the page.
These adverts are served by an external advertising network. To do that, the network's own code runs in your browser on these pages. It may set its own cookies, read your IP address and device or browser details, and use them to choose which adverts to show you. That processing is governed by the advertising network's privacy policy, not this one, and we do not control it.
We never send your entry details to any advertiser. Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address go to our own server and nowhere else.
Adverts are never loaded in the admin area. If you would rather not run third-party advertising code at all, a content blocker will stop it; the entry form and tracking page work normally without it.
How long we keep it
Entries are kept for the duration of the giveaway round and for a reasonable period afterwards so prizes can be delivered and disputes resolved. After that they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your entry sooner — see below.
Your choices
- See what we hold: use your tracking code on the tracking page, or email us.
- Correct something: email us with your tracking code and the correction.
- Delete your entry: email us with your tracking code and ask. Deleting an entry removes it from the draw.
Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. The admin area is protected by a password and a second factor from an authenticator app, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and every administrative action is logged.
Children
This giveaway is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly keep their details. If you believe a child has entered, email us and we will delete the entry.
